Very simple, straight forward and one of the best known card games in casinos and very popular all around the world.
You play against the Dealer and the goal is to reach a score closer to 21 than the Dealer, but without going over 21.
You place your bets in an empty box right in front of you and the dealer will deal two cards faced up for you and one for himself. You count the total value of your cards ,king, queen, jack called face cards counting 10, Aces counting 1-11.If the total value of your cards are 21 you have made a Black Jack which pays to 3-2 unless the dealers first card is not an Ace a face card or ten. If this happens you can choose to get paid even money as the dealer has the chance of making a Black Jack with his second card or if you wish you can make an insurance bet this is half of your original bet and if the dealer does get a Black Jack you will receive 2-1 on both bets.
When you haven’t got a Black Jack
You can stand or draw till 21 or if you have a pair other than 4s, 5s, 10s, you can split the pair and add the same bet to your original bet and draw extra cards on each card.
If the total value of your first to cards are 9-10-11 you can double your original bet and draw only one more card .
The Dealer must draw to 16 and stand at 17.
